What am I?

I'm a DTP Artworker/Formatter based in West Yorkshire.

A while back I worked in a few design studios, working on various magazines both in-house and regional, plus other various artwork briefs but turned freelance back 2010, the best thing I ever did.

My Work

I work on an Apple 27" iMac but a long way back I did work with PCs.

Of the many kinds of freelance jobs, one such job was for a major
retail client doing localisation work – translation from English into five Eastern European languages. I also handle Arabic, Hebrew, Urdu, all within the InDesign CC 2020 environment.

My Experience

I have over 20 years’ experience in the design industry, some of it in a freelance capacity, some of it working abroad. I have worked closely with a wide range of clients from a vast number of industries and business sectors.

I am conversant with the Adobe Creative Suite and use its latest version (CC 2020),  Microsoft 365 all on the Mac OSX platform.

What I did in the past

Prior to this I started out from college in the Film & Television industry working, originally in Feature Films in London, then moved North and worked for many major clients such as Shell UK Oil, The Caravan Club, Whitbread, ASDA and Bass North West.

My background in both production and freelance areas of work is of great assistance to clients.
